What is RSS?

  • RSS stands Rich Site Summary which is used to associate or share content on the web.   • It is generally used for publishing news headlines, blog entries of other information. New uses are being found continuously, especially in the world of education. There is a talk about a second era of the Internet, following the development of networks hyper link that opens a very large potential in access to information.

What can a website do with RSS?



  • Keeping a website fresh and updated. Using tools such as Feedroll, you can import news feed from other sites and display them on a constantly updated website.

  • Post your pages (news, etc...) and RSS feeds for broad cast. Publishing a feed there is a step in the access to content and a more direct way to access information.


What can RSS do for users generally?
  • News, information, articles, news, entertainment without having to browse each site and find your updates. With RSS you can subscribe to those news and a reader which automatically checks all the sites you mentioned and is showing the new content are added.
