Amazon Cloud Search
- Amazon provides a new service to store and play music.
- Amazon.com announced an on-line service that enable customers to store and access securely to music via their smart phones and computers.
- The Amazon Cloud Service allows customers to securely store music in the company's Web servers instead of local hard disks, a technology known as "cloud computing".
- Amazon said that the new service would allow customers to play music on any device like Android, Windows y Apple.
- The company said customers would initially 5 GB of free storage, which will eventually be increased to 20 GB with the purchase of any album in MP3.

Voice Search (Spanish)
VOICE SEARCH is an application that offers a search method by speaking.
- The voice search application is available for all Latin America, respecting the particular accents of each region.
- Google VOICE SEARCH is available now in Spanish respecting the different accents from America. For this release, the company has worked with employees and users of Google in the region, including Chile, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina, to capture the variety of accents of those places.
- In each country, Google worked with native people to collect samples of how they speak and you better understand different accents and dialects. Data were collected in different acoustic conditions, such as restaurants, public roads or cars in motion, to train the speech recognition model according to different use cases in real life.
- Because the Spanish language varies depending on which country in America is concerned, Google held a double work:
- First training language models to recognize the hundreds and thousands of words.
- And second, to create three different models for more accurate results.

Here are some of the the new features that Firefox 4 includes:
- An update of the interface for all platforms that is more elegant and easier to use

- Firefox 4 provides high performance enhancements that makes about 3.5 times faster than the old Firefox.
- Supports WebM format (you can see HD videos)

- Web Console: Firefox allows you to look under the hood of dynamic web pages.
- Multi-touch support for Windows 7.
- XPCOM: Firefox starts even more faster thanks to XPCOM
- Protection against errors: Firefox provides seamless navigation to Windows, Linux, Mac when there is an accident in Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime plug-ins or Microsoft Silverlight. If one of these commonly used supplements crashes or freezes, does not affect the rest of Firefox. Instead, simply refresh the page to restart the plugin and try again.

Web Operating Systems
Web Operating System – WebOS is a computing research project that began at the University of California, to develop a program for abstract applications for the Internet. These applications include:
- A file system that identifies the information through Resource Locators (URL)
- Secure remote execution
- Secure access to information
- Error-free transactions.
Generally the term On-line Operating System has been used to refer to a platform that interacts with the user through the web browser and does not depend on the operating system. Recently, this technology has attracted significant interests because Google is producing a platform.

- It is disposable for a variety of versions of Google (in more than 40 languages)
- It supports the use of gadgets specially created to show the content of a user on the page
- The gadgets can be put on different tabs inside of iGoogle
- Example of gadgets:
- YouTube Channel – Shows the videos from a specific channel of YouTube
- Countdown – chronometer.
- HTML and URL gadgets
- With iGoogle, the users can select unique themes of the main page of Google.

Mozilla Prism
- Application allows web applications to be downloaded to the desktop. Mozilla Prism, formerly known as WebRunner, is a product currently indevelopment which integrates web applications with the desktop environment, which allows web applications to run from the desktop and configured independently of the default web browser. It is commonly used in conjunction with Google AJAX applications like Gmail and Google Docs. The publication of Prism was made in October 2007.The software is currently in beta.

Some types of applications that often include plugins are:
- Web browsers. Often require certain plug-ins that extend the capabilities of webpages for interactive content, videos and others like. A familiar example is the Adobe Flash plug-in that loads an interactive multimedia animations used, for example, to view videos.
- Music players. Some allow add-ons to play formats that are not originally supported, sound effects or video, display or displays animationsthat move to the music you're listening to, among other options.Windows Media Player and Winamp support many of these options.
- Content management systems. To change the appearance, add buttons or other content to web pages are added. WordPress plug-ins are well known.
And in general, any application can add support for accessories.
I will present to you a plugin used by MozillaFirefox, named Easy YouTube Video Downloader.
This application allows us to download videos straight from YouTube.
The application has the following features:

I will speak about Photobucket:
Photobucket is a website that receives images, videos, sideshows and photos. Photobucket is usually used for personal photo albums, storage of avatars displayed on Internet forums and video storage. Photobucket is also often used for eBay accounts, MySpace, Bebo, Neopets, Facebook, LiveJournals, etc.. Users can keep their albums private, allows password access, or open to the public.
Photobucket has many limitations:
- Free 500MB storage, 25GB with the payment option
- The photos submitted must be smaller than 1 MB (Not all the time)
- Videos uploaded should last 5 minutes or less
- Since Photobucket does not allow sexually explicit content they have the right to remove content due violations of its terms
