New domains in Internet

Companies, cities or organizations may register their own domain names, following the decision Monday by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
The initiative is considered a major milestone in the four decades of history of the Internet, was announced by ICANN in a statement issued after the meeting that its board of directors held in Singapore.

The New Nintendo Wii U

Amazon Cloud Search

Amazon provides a new service to store and play music.
Amazon.com announced an on-line service that enable customers to store and access securely to music via their smart phones and computers.
The Amazon Cloud Service allows customers to securely store music in the company's Web servers instead of local hard disks, a technology known as "cloud computing".
Amazon said that the new service would allow customers to play music on any device like Android, Windows y Apple.
The company said customers would initially 5 GB of free storage, which will eventually be increased to 20 GB with the purchase of any album in MP3.

Voice Search (Spanish)

VOICE SEARCH is an application that offers a search method by speaking.

The voice search application is available for all Latin America, respecting the particular accents of each region.
Google VOICE SEARCH is available now in Spanish respecting the different accents from America. For this release, the company has worked with employees and users of Google in the region, including Chile, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina, to capture the variety of accents of those places.
In each country, Google worked with native people to collect samples of how they speak and you better understand different accents and dialects. Data were collected in different acoustic conditions, such as restaurants, public roads or cars in motion, to train the speech recognition model according to different use cases in real life.
Because the Spanish language varies depending on which country in America is concerned, Google held a double work:

First training language models to recognize the hundreds and thousands of words.
And second, to create three different models for more accurate results.

If one of these commonly used supplements crashes or freezes, does not affect the rest of Firefox. Instead, simply refresh the page to restart the plugin and try again.

Web Operating Systems

Web Operating System – WebOS is a computing research project that began at the University of California, to develop a program for abstract applications for the Internet. These applications include:

- A file system that identifies the information through Resource Locators (URL)

- Secure remote execution

- Secure access to information

- Error-free transactions.

Generally the term On-line Operating System has been used to refer to a platform that interacts with the user through the web browser and does not depend on the operating system. Recently, this technology has attracted significant interests because Google is producing a platform.

Some examples of WebOS:

- Chrome OS
